The West Midlands splits its listings across three towns, with Birmingham carrying the largest share by a wide margin and Telford and Wolverhampton each currently down for a single venue. Birmingham's size as England's second city goes a long way towards explaining that gap.

Wolverhampton sits close enough to Birmingham that travelling in for more choice is realistic, while Telford, built up around older industrial towns further west, is a little further out on its own. Neither single venue should be read as a lesser stand-in for Birmingham's bigger selection.

Birmingham's cluster is the natural starting point for anyone wanting to compare several venues directly rather than book the first one they find, and both Telford and Wolverhampton are close enough by road to add to that comparison if the nearest listing doesn't suit. Ironbridge Gorge, on Telford's doorstep, is one of the more recognisable heritage sites anywhere in the region.
