Head spas in Derbyshire.

Ripley is the only Derbyshire town currently listed here. Nottingham, just over the county boundary and the nearest larger city, is itself down to a single venue, so there's little advantage in travelling further for more choice right now.

Chesterfield, over in South Yorkshire, is in much the same boat, suggesting this whole stretch of the East Midlands is still early in developing its head spa scene. Ripley's own venue deserves to be judged on its own merits rather than as a placeholder.

The county's Peak District towns further west haven't built up listings of their own, which leaves Ripley, on the eastern side, covering Derbyshire alone for now. Its canalside setting and the listing's own hours and treatments are covered further down this page. Mining and quarrying shaped much of this part of the county historically, long before any modern beauty treatments ever set up shop here at all.
