Head spas in Nottingham.

Nottingham, a major East Midlands city, has one head spa venue listed — a smaller showing than a city of its size would suggest, and a reminder that the treatment's spread across England's larger cities has been uneven so far. Leeds and Birmingham, both within a couple of hours' travel, have considerably bigger clusters of their own. The venue trading in Nottingham operates independently of anything listed under a Leeds or Birmingham postcode.

Ripley, a smaller Derbyshire town nearby, has its own single-venue listing too, so demand across the wider East Midlands still looks fairly thin outside the biggest cities. Nottingham's castle and its old lace market both draw a reasonable number of visitors through the city year-round.

The Nottingham listing itself is set out below, a proper city option rather than a smaller version of what Leeds or Birmingham currently offer. Chesterfield and Doncaster, both within the wider region, share Nottingham's single-venue pattern, underlining how early the East Midlands still is in this respect.
